Compared to the previous generation, the Xbox X SeriesThe game has a superior balance of power and speed, which, in the words of Xbox boss Phil Spencer, “have advanced on all technology fronts to deliver incredible, dynamic, living worlds and minimize any aspects that can take you out of the experience”.
For a couple of months now there has been talk of the new Microsoft console, in what will be the new generation of consoles to be launched this year. And as there was not much certainty about the news, here we tell you all the details you should know.
Technically, this is what the Xbox X Series looks like
The Xbox X Series features AMD’s latest Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures, which delivers up to four times the processing power of an Xbox One and allows developers to take advantage of 12 TFLOPS of GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) performance – twice that of an Xbox One and more than eight times the original Xbox One.
According to Spencer:
“With this performance comes a generational leap in processing power and graphics with cutting-edge techniques that result in higher frame rates, larger and more sophisticated game worlds, and an immersive experience unlike anything seen in console gaming.”
In addition, the console incorporates variable rate shading (VRS) with which developers can prioritize individual effects on specific in-game characters or objects that enhance the visual experience. This definitely offers the user more stable frames per second and higher resolution.
Spencer also added that:
“Game worlds are bigger, more dynamic, they load in an instant and fast travel is just that: fast.”
the Xbox X Series, also has a feature called “quick resume”. It allows users to continue multiple games from a suspended state, almost immediately to get back to where they were without waiting through long loading screens.
Another of its main features is that it offers the possibility of playing games from older generations. For example, it has support for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox titles. Best of all, they will play better, as they will have more stable frames, faster loading times and improved visual resolution.
